The Tuatha de Danann, an ancient people of magic from whom the Fae descended, have lived in harmony with the Earth on the continent of Éire for centuries – even after the arrival of mortal men, the Milesians.

Although the Tuatha sought to live in peace with the new mortal arrivals, the Milesians continue to make their home on Éire by conquest and exploitation of the land and its resources.

As tensions rise between the two races, war breaks out amid the once peaceful green hills and lush forests.
